ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say they’re looking for the driver who hit a woman on Lyell Avenue near Myrtle Street, then took off.
Officers responded to the crash just before 11:30 p.m. on Sunday and found the woman, 31, injured. An ambulance took her to the hospital, and she is expected to survive.
Investigators determined that the woman was in the street when a sedan, heading west, hit her. RPD is still trying to determine the make and model of that car and is asking anyone with information that can help to find the driver to call 911.
