WARREN — The Tribune Chronicle is seeking nominations for its 14th annual Twenty Under 20 program.
The newspaper will recognize 20 high-achieving individuals younger than 20 for their leadership skills through volunteerism, extracurricular activities and academic achievements.
Nominees need to be a resident of Trumbull County, at least a freshman in high school and no older than 19 as of Dec. 1.
Nomination forms can be acquired at local high school guidance offices or by contacting community events coordinator Sue Shafer at sshafer@
tribtoday.com or 330-841-1696.
Along with the form, applicants are permitted to attach up to five supporting documents, such as high school transcripts. A narrative about how they have shown leadership through community service, academic achievement and extracurricular activities should be included.
The forms can be turned in to Shafer at [email protected] or mailed to her, c/o Tribune Chronicle, 240 Franklin St. SE, Warren, OH 44483. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 5.
