A home in the southwest suburbs was the scene of a large police investigation overnight, with crime scene tape blocking off the house and surrounding cul-de-sac.
Numerous officers and detectives could be seen entering and exiting the large home, at Brook Stone Court in Frankfort.
Photos and video showed police and crime scene tape covering a large portion of the area, not far from Stone Creek Park, with multiple Frankfort police and sheriff cars and trucks outside of the home.
NBC Chicago has reached out to Frankfort police, Mokena police and the Will County Sheriff’s Department for more details, and an NBC Chicago crew was heading to the scene.
Frankfort, in Will County, is about 36 miles approximately 36 miles south of Chicago.
