Around 8:30 p.m., a person was stabbed by an unknown individual at the Division Blue Line station, located at the three-way intersection of North Milwaukee Avenue, West Division Street and Ashland Avenue. A large police presence could be seen in the area around 9 p.m. in response to the stabbing.
Chicago Fire Department officials told NBC Chicago they transported one person from the scene in critical condition, but it was not immediately clear whether the stabbing occurred on a train or on the platform.
