ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Leaders from Rochester’s faith community are hosting a back-to-school blessing event on Saturday, Aug. 29.
Kids will get new free backpacks. Teachers can also get new school supplies for their classrooms. There will also be gifts for school support staff, games and family activities, and more.
The event at 219 Stenson St. runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
