India women’s national cricket team star Shreyanka Patil has opened up about the trolling she faced after sharing a dance video on social media. Shreyanka Patil faced massive backlash online after sharing a video of herself dancing to the popular song Babli Badmaash Hai from Shootout At Wadala.
However, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru all-rounder has stressed that she is not allowing the criticism to affect her. She really doesn’t care whether people praise her, criticise her or troll her. Earlier, Shubman Gill takes amazing catch to dismiss Kamindu Mendis in 2nd Test.
Shreyanka Patil made it clear that she is completely comfortable with her lifestyle and choices. She enjoys using Instagram, dancing and wearing the clothes she likes and does not want online criticism to stop her from doing what makes her happy.
Shreyanka said, as quoted by NDTV: “I mean, honestly, it gives me a lot of attention. People are actually seeing me and saying, ‘Oh, she's doing so well. ' Whether you troll me, criticise me or appreciate me, I think it's all for my good. I don't see trolls as trolls because I love what I'm doing. I love being on Instagram, I love dancing, and I love wearing the dresses I want to wear.”
'I'm not shy'
The 23-year-old also believes that trolls will remain trolls and suggested that some of the negativity could come from people who are unhappy with her success.
The young all-rounder added, “I'm not shy about saying that because I'm comfortable with who I am. I'm comfortable dancing to any song and doing what makes me happy. I love doing what I love, and trolls are just going to remain trolls. They're probably just jealous that I'm doing well.”
