Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder will play the Robins Theatre on Nov. 13.
Skaggs is a 15-time Grammy winner and inductee in both the Country and Bluegrass halls of fame.
He played with bluegrass legend Bill Monroe when he was 6 years old, and appeared on the “Flatt & Scruggs” syndicated TV show the following year, earning his first paycheck as a musician. In the mid 1970s, Skaggs was joined by Leavittsburg native Jerry Douglas in the influential bluegrass band J.D. Crowe & the New South.
Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show start at $39 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Etix.
