With that shot, Pant completed his 20th half-century in Test cricket. That massive six also helped the left-hander to achieve the massive feats. The six was Pant's 100th six in the format, making him only the fourth batter in Test history to reach the 100-six milestone.
Pant also becomes the fastest batter to hit 100 Test sixes, having reached this huge milestone in just 4,918 balls. The Indian wicketkeeper-batter reached the landmark 1,660 balls faster than the legendary Australian wicketkeeper-batter Adam Gilchrist, who is second on the list.
