Love Island 2026 winners Lorenzo Alessi and Julia Majchrzak have offered an update about their relationship as they're settling into their new normal.

Just last week, the pair were crowned champions after they met in Casa Amor and immediately hit it off. While the pair never made it official while in the villa, they did confirm they were "exclusively dating", suggesting things were moving in a positive direction - and it appears to still be the case.

Since their win and return to the UK, fans have been speculating their relationship status after noticing they hadn't spent much time together or shared much about one another on social media.

Speculation intensified when the couple appeared on This Morning on Monday 3 August and Julia revealed the pair hadn't been on a date since returning.

But in an exclusive interview with Radio Times, Lorenzo confirmed that, despite busy schedules in the coming weeks, they will take time to see one another and embark on a "new chapter" in the real world.

" It's just been so crazy coming back," Lorenzo said. "We've spent time with friends and family, and now we can sort of begin that new chapter in the real world, right? So we can start going on dates, we can start learning more about each other that perhaps we didn't even think about in there. So yeah, it's gonna be a really fun time, and I'm looking forward to this new exciting period in our relationship."

Asked if they had any dates planned, Lorenzo added: "Yeah, I mean, we've got a busy schedule ahead. But yeah, we're gonna grab dinner after this. And yeah, schedule some. It feels really awkward having to schedule time in. Yeah. But yeah, we're gonna schedule some time to meet up a lot over the next, sort of two weeks or so, and really book that in so we can put the time in to building this from the foundation that we [built]."

"That's what it's about really," Julia told Radio Times. "In the end, that's what we came there for, right? To find a person. Now we're out of this, and there's so much going on, but at the end it's important that we remember that we're in this together."

Julia and Lorenzo won by a landslide, with the couple securing 46.9 per cent in the public vote, while Jasmine and Kavan received 27.1 per cent and Angelista and Simba received 26 per cent.

When the vote reopened for a second time to crown the winners, Julia and Lorenzo received 62.4 per cent of the public vote while Jasmine and Kavan received 37.6 per cent.

Speaking of their win, Julia said: "It's still sinking in", while Lorenzo added: "I don't think it's really hit yet. Since we left, it's been a whirlwind. I feel like, give it some time, it might kick in."
