VENTURA, Calif. (KEYT) The band Iration, that got its start in Isla Vista, headlined the third night of the Ventura County Fair.
Fans filled the arena to see Iration play a mix of reggae and rock.
The talented members are from Hawaii.
Concerts at the fair are free with the price of admission, but fans can buy VIP tickets to get closer look.
"What do we like about the fair? The concerts of course, one of her favorite bands," said Brendan Seamon.
"We are visiting from San Jose, we came here for the weekend and Iration is one of my favorite bands and she loves concerts and music, this is Chloe, it was a family concert it was fun," said Ashley Sison-Seaman.
Iration's encore was the Tom Petty and the Hartbreakers's Mary Jane's Last Dance.
Fans loved it.
Locals headed over to the Surf Rodeo's second annual speakeasy after the show.
Most had a to wait to get in.
People had to have a password to enter through the sparkling gold horseshoe to see other bands perform.
It is right around the corner from the arena.
Instead of fireworks the fairgrounds has a giant screen showing a live feed of the fair from above.
In addition to the rides that light up at night, there are new things to do.
Fairgoers can play with slime or take a rider on camels. things to do like play with slime and ride camels.
The fair is open from noon to 11 p.m. each day through August 9.
