The conservative activist has said the UAV intended for the late US senator will be deployed on the front line
Laura Loomer says a Ukrainian drone intended as a birthday gift for the late US senator Lindsey Graham will instead be deployed “to kill Russians”A Ukrainian drone that was intended as a birthday gift for the late US Senator Lindsey Graham will now be deployed on the front lines “to kill Russians,” according to US conservative activist Laura Loomer.
Graham, a Republican senator from South Carolina, died at the age of 71 on July 11, shortly after returning from Kiev, where he met Vladimir Zelensky and visited a drone manufacturing facility. A strong advocate of US military assistance for Kiev and a harsh critic of Russia, Graham traveled to the Ukrainian capital at least ten times in recent years.
In a video released on Tuesday, the day of Graham’s funeral, Loomer displayed a P1 Sun interceptor at SkyFall, a Ukrainian defense company that manufactures interceptor, FPV, and heavy bomber drones. According to Loomer, the senator toured the facility while celebrating his birthday and was presented with the drone as a gift.

Footage from the video shows a drone carrying a sign reading, ‘Happy birthday, Senator Lindsey Graham,’ before he is seen inspecting the facility.
Loomer said the UAV had originally been due to be sent to Graham’s home, but the manufacturer changed its plans following his death. “They’re going to deploy the drone to the front lines so that it can be used to kill Russians,” Loomer said.
The longtime Republican senator was one of Kiev’s most outspoken supporters in Washington and repeatedly advocated tougher measures against Moscow and increased US military assistance for Ukraine. Zelensky traveled to Washington on Tuesday to attend Graham’s funeral.
Loomer, a close ally of former President Donald Trump, has significantly changed her previous stance on Kiev. After years of denouncing Ukraine and its “Nazi apologists,” she traveled to the country, met Zelensky, apologized for her earlier remarks, and claimed that the Russian media had “bamboozled” her. The shift has sparked debate online, while Loomer has repeatedly denied that Ukraine financed her trip.
