While speaking on BCCI TV, Vaibhav opened up about the guidance and the coaches making themselves available for him and helping him whenever required. The 15-year-old boy wonder also stated that he is in a good frame of mind ahead of the first match at the Harare Cricket Ground, Zimbabwe.
"Yes, there have been several ups and downs in the last four months (kaafi ups and downs aaye hain 4 mahine mein). It's part of cricket it will keep happening but I have to follow the process and give my 100 per cent for the team," Sooryavanshi told on 'BCCI TV'.

"It's an obvious thing that whatever I want (guidance etc), the coaches are making it available and whatever practice I require I am getting that. Feeling very good, there is confidence also," he added.

Vaibhav had fond memories of Zimbabwe as he became the U19-champion here at this very ground. He won the Player of the Tournament award for his exceptional performance in the major tournament, scoring 439 runs in the tournament, with a match-winning hundred in the final.
Vaibhav played a swashbuckling knock of 175 runs off 80 balls, smashing 15 fours and as many sixes in the final against England, and took the game away from the Three Lions side as India won the match by a huge margin of 100 runs. He would like to repeat something similar at this venue where he returns after four months.
In the same video, he said, "It's a very memorable ground for me. Just four months back, we had played the U-19 World Cup Final and won, so a very special ground. To represent India is everyone's dream and it's a very special moment.
"I'm playing on a ground where we won the U-19 World Cup four months back and made history (and) to return to the ground and play here will be an altogether different feeling... really enjoying it," he said.
