After setting many Billboard Chart records following its Oct. 17, 2025, release as the lead single from her second studio album Dandelion, the song has hit another career milestone.
"Choosin' Texas" was the most-streamed song (by on-demand audio streams), according to data tracking company Luminate. For the first half of 2026, the track brought in 570.9 million streams.
According to Billboard, total on-demand audio streams at midyear increased by 4.8% in the U.S. compared to last year.

Langley also beat out Bad Bunny's DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS for 2026’s Midyear Top 10 Albums in U.S. (by Equivalent Album Units), as Dandelion took the No. 2 spot with 1.638 million, bested only by Morgan Wallen'sI’m the Problem, which took the No. 1 spot with 2.035 million.
The Alabama native is rewriting the history books, as Parade previously reported, she’s become one of only five songs by women without male-billed acts to spend at least 13 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The tune is also the first non-holiday song to hit the milestone since Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” 21 years ago.
And if you haven't been keeping up, she's also dominating the chart with three songs occupying spots in the top four, with “Choosin’ Texas” at the top, alongside “Be Her” and the Wallen collaboration, “I Can’t Love You Anymore,” putting her in an elite group to command multiple spots of the all-genre chart.
The upbeat heartbreak ballad also spent 11 weeks at the top of iTunes. And in June, it took the coveted spot of being the most-played song on TouchTunes, the popular digital jukebox platform, for the first six months of the year.
