Jackson Browne's recent performance of one of his beloved songs was so powerful that some of Hollywood's biggest names were starstruck.
Browne, 77, a legendary singer-songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member known for songs like "Doctor My Eyes," Running on Empty," and "The Pretender," took the stage this weekend at the Hollywood Bowl during the "Music From the Films of Wes Anderson." The event welcomed fans of the director, known for iconic films like The Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, and The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou. Naturally, there was nobody better than Browne to take the stage to perform during the fun event, which also featured Anderson film regulars like Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, and Jason Schwartzman.
Browne performed his song "These Days," which was prominently featured on the soundtrack of The Royal Tenenbaums. The 1967 version of the song, recorded by Nico, served a prominent role in the 2001 film featuring Luke Wilson and Gwyneth Paltrow as Richie and Margot Tenenbaum.
