Fans excited for Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro will have a whole new way to enjoy the show beyond just tuning in week after week. Announced Friday, via the Instagram account for DWTSalum Danielle Fishel's, Pod Meets World, the '90s sitcom star along with pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy will be hosting a podcast, entitled Stepping on Toes, which will recap the competition. "Hear from a dance expert (and Val) as they breakdown every move, and find who will be joining the ballroom this upcoming season," the announcement read.
View this post on InstagramCommenters were quick to call Fishel a "podcast queen" since, along with her Boy Meets World recap podcast, during her time on DWTS' Season 34 she also hosted Danielle with the Stars where she talked about her experience on the show and chatted with previous celebrities, like Jodie Sweetin, who also competed. She's also the host of Teen Beat, a podcast where she chats with celebrities from Mya to Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.
Chmerkovskiy and Fishel also teased the announcement with a cheeky Instagram reel posted on Thursday.
Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro will be hosted by Robert Irwin, who won the most recent season of the ballroom dance competition.

As the premiere date of the DWTS spin-off show approaches next week, more and more info has been released — including the names and backstories of the hopefuls themselves. One of the contestants is actually Ezra Sosa's sister, Stephani Sosa.
Specifically for Irwin, he told Parade that the role of host was "interesting."
"I had spent three months in the ballroom dancing, and then all of a sudden, I was actually like a host and sort of almost a mentor to these incredible dancers," he said. "Not a mentor for how to dance; they’re better than I’ll ever be. But to mentor how to tell stories through dance and how to really express yourself and your creativity. And it was fun to watch people, the best in their craft, just giving everything to what they love." Dancing with the Stars: The Next Pro premieres on Monday July 13th at at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC and streams the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
