For two weeks every summer, Wimbledon is the hottest ticket in town. Tennis stars are made on Centre Court, usually in front of a crowd packed with famous faces.

The car parks of SW19 will be full of fancy cars with blacked-out windows over the fortnight as celebrities flock to the Royal Box.

    A fixture of the Championships since 1922, every year the outdoor box on Centre Court welcomes a host of famous faces and guests from various walks of life, who are always dressed to the nines.

    David Beckham, Hugh Grant, Greta Gerwig, and Catherine, Princess of Wales, are just a few of the notable names that have been spotted over the years but what about 2026?

    Who is in the Royal Box at Wimbledon today?

    Blink and you might miss him. The fastest man in history, eight-time Olympic gold-winning sprinter Usain Bolt, was one of the famous faces in the Royal Box on Friday.

    Crossing the divide between sports and screen, actor Joseph Fiennes, known for his portrayal of former England football manager Sir Gareth Southgate in the BBC TV show 'Dear England', was also in attendance.

    EastEnders star Ben Hardy, comedian and actor Rob Brydon (Gavin and Stacey), and former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak were also spotted in the Centre Court box.

    Thursday 2 July – Day 4

    Catherine, Princess of Wales, was at Wimbledon on Day 4 of the Championships and has been spotted sitting with former Wimbledon stars Sir Andy Murray and Anne Keothavong, but not in the Royal Box.

    Cliff Richard, who has famously serenaded Centre Court during rain breaks in years gone by, was in attendance. If he was looking around the box for a duet partner, singer Ellie Goulding would've been his best bet.

    There is plenty of sporting talent in the Royal Box as well, including Olympic medallist Dame Denise Lewis, Lionesses legend Lucy Bronze, and former Wimbledon champion Ann Jones.

    Former Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, TV presenter Michaela Strachan and chef Marcus Wareing, were among the other famous faces present.

    Wednesday 1 July – Day 3

    There was a golfing feel to the Royal Box on day 3 as Ryder Cup heroes arrived in force.

    Team Europe captain Luke Donald was joined by his vice-captains and fellow former golfers, Thomas Bjorn, Edoardo Molinari and Francesco Molinari.

    Alongside six-time major winner Rory McIlroy were Team Europe teammates Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood.

    There was some acting royalty in attendance as well, in the form of Richard E Grant (Withnail & I) and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones), while nine-time Wimbledon champion Martina Navratilova was also present.

    Actors Fiona Shaw (Harry Potter) and Celia Imrie (Bridget Jones, Traitors Celebrities) were among those joining Lady Rose Gilman, the daughter of Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, in the Royal Box on day 2 at Wimbledon.

    Man of many talents Richard Osman, Radio 1 presenter Greg James, and former England cricketer Stuart Broad were also spotted.

    The musical names in attendance included, radio presenter and member of The Saturdays, Mollie King, who is married to Broad, Jamie Cullum, and musical theatre actor Alfie Boe.

    Monday 29 June – Day 1

    Prince Edward and former England captain Sir David Beckham were among those spotted in the Royal Box on Centre Court on the opening day of the Championships.

    Beckham, who was accompanied by his mum, was sitting next to former tennis player and current chair of The All England Lawn Tennis Club, Debbie Jevans.

    Oscar-winning actors Robert Aramayo (I Swear) and Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies) were also in attendance on Centre Court, as were singer Katherine Jenkins, popstar Ronan Keating, comedian Alexander Armstrong, TV host Tess Daly, and TV chef Mary Berry.
