Supergirl flies onto the big screen this week – with Cruella and I, Tonya director Craig Gillespie helming the second instalment in James Gunn's rebooted DC Universe after Superman last summer.
Adapted from Tom King and Bilquis Evely's acclaimed comic Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, the film follows a harder-edged, world-weary Kara Zor-El on a cosmic revenge mission across the galaxy, with House of the Dragon and Sirens star Milly Alcock taking on the main role.
