Live with Kelly and Mark is not quite as live as usual this week.
According to a report by Decider, the daytime show is airing previously recorded episodes whileKelly Ripa, Mark Consuelosand the Live team take their annual brief summer vacation.
That does not mean viewers are only seeing old reruns.
The episodes still include new host chats from Ripa and Consuelos, along with some previously aired celebrity interviews.
Why 'Live With Kelly and Mark' Is Not Live This Week

According to Decider, a production source said the Live family is on its annual short summer break.
The timing may have confused some viewers because Ripa and Consuelos are still appearing at the top of each episode.
But the episodes airing this week were recorded in advance.
The Tuesday, June 23 episode included a new host chat and past interviews withMariah Carey, Malin Akerman and Paul Walter Hauser.
This week's shows are expected to mix new content with previously aired interviews.
According to Decider, other past interviews scheduled to air during the week include Eugene Levy, Rose Byrne, Tim Allen, Jessica Chastain, Sebastian Maniscalco and Minnie Driver.
So while the show is not live in the usual sense, it is not completely off the air either.
Ripa and Consuelos are still part of the episodes. The difference is that the interviews may not be brand new.
When Kelly and Mark Will Be Live Again
Ripa and Consuelos are expected to return to live tapings soon.
According to Decider, the pair will return to their downtown New York City studio on Monday, June 29.
That episode is set to feature Michelle Buteau and Mr. Fantasy.
The rest of the week is expected to include guests Nina Dobrev, Billy Eichner, Law Roach and Caroline Rhea.

Summer Breaks Are Normal for Daytime Shows
This kind of schedule is not unusual for daytime TV.
