KFC Rival Opens First-of-Its-Kind Restaurant Complete With 24-Hour Service

If you’re a fan of chicken tenders and French fries, you may want to plan your next flight with a layover in Dallas. Fast-growing chain Raising Cane’s, which got its start in Louisiana and has quickly won over consumers across the country, is opening its first-ever restaurant in an airport, with Dallas Fort Worth International Airport getting the honors.

Starting June 19, travelers will be able to get hand-battered and cooked-to-order chicken fingers, buttery Cane’s toast, crispy crinkle-cut fries, creamy coleslaw, and iconic Cane’s sauce at Gate B19 in Terminal B, with 24-hour service coming shortly.

Raising Cane’s choosing Dallas Forth Worth International Airport for its inaugural airport restaurant isn’t surprising, as it’s one of the busiest airports in the country, welcoming over 86 million customers annually. In fact, it’s so busy that Raising Cane’s isn’t the only option for chicken, not just in the airport, but in Terminal B, with a Wingstop just steps away between gates B28 and B29. Want to get your chicken fix but won’t be in Terminal B? No problem, as there’s a Buffalo Wild Wings in Terminal D, three Chick-fil-A locations in terminals C, D, and E, and if you’d like a cheeseburger to go along with some McCrispy Strips, you can stop by McDonald’s in terminals A, C, or D.

This isn’t the only noteworthy opening for Raising Cane’s this month, as the chain took World Cup fever to the next level with the opening of its Inglewood flagship restaurant in California, just minutes from SoFi Stadium and Intuit Dome. The restaurant features a multi-level layout, glass exterior, a signature aluminum halo, and LED screens throughout.

“Raising Cane’s continues to grow across the country, and this month we’re excited to bring our craveable chicken finger meals to more customers and communities nationwide,” a Raising Cane’s representative told Parade. “Each opening represents another meaningful milestone in Cane’s continued growth and connection with customers wherever they live, work and travel.”
