ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Roc City Skatepark will close Monday for repairs and maintenance.
It is expected to reopen Friday.
“We understand people are eager to get back in and skate, but we need everyone to give our crews the time and space they need to finish this project the right way,” said Mayor Malik D. Evans. “We’re in the final stretch, and I’m asking our incredible skatepark community to help us get across the finish line. Please stay out of the construction areas and let the crews do their work.”
Phase two of the skatepark renovation is almost finished and is expected to wrap up by the end of the year. Once completed, it will be the largest skatepark in the state.
