2026 AUSTRALIAN SWIMMING TRIALS

Three days into the 2026 Australian Trials and SwimSwam is continuing to track the current Pan-Pacs and Commonwealth Rosters.

After all three days, the men and women each have eight athletes qualified under Priority 1 for both meets.

The women swam the 200 freestyle final today, and while the individual qualifiers, Mollie O’Callaghan and Lani Pallister, were already qualified for the team, the Priority 2 selections filled out further with the 3rd-8th qualified swimmers all falling under the criteria for a potential Priority 2 selection. As a reminder, Swimming Australia has absolute discretion with selection and any number of these athletes may earn selection.

Just like yesterday, some athletes earned individual qualifications in additional events. We have athletes listed under their highest priority qualification with all events under any priority listed next to them.

Cameron McEvoy also earned his official invite today, winning the men’s 50 freestyle. He has previously declared his intention not to race at Pan-Pacs, choosing to focus on the Commonwealth Games instead. He is still listed under both meets since he technically earned his qualification in both, and he will likely not be the only swimmer to make this decision.
