Saw: Genesis is set in the aftermath of World War I, where you will choose to play as a Judge or Accused. Set across procedurally generated maps, you will look to escape a deadly labyrinth as a team of Accused, or manipulate the Accused as the Judge.
Wielding a variety of traps and shaped by the war, the Judge is an early architect of Jigsaw's philosophy.
Using perks, players will customise their approach to each trial, and while the Judge is powerful, they cannot completely overpower the Accused. They need to use strategy and unique abilities like exclusive corridors and noise-detection maps to take the Accused down.
If you are the Accused, the Judge is looking to rehabilitate you, in gory ways. With teammates, you will coordinate to complete tasks and challenges, scavenge items, and collect keys before time is up. Routes shift, plans change and each map's procedural structure will force you to adapt.
