June 4-7, 2026 Ocala, FL LCM (50 meters) Meet Mobile “2026 FL SZSS Sectional Championships” Day 1 RecapNight two of Ocala Sectionals was highlighted by Karrington Hansen who swam to a win in a lifetime best 2:00.89 200 free on the girls side. She dropped almost a second off her previous best 2:01.56 she swam back in July 2024 at Futures in Austin, Texas. Karrington will head to Kentucky this fall.
14 year old Ava Dipasquale blasted a lifetime best 4:54.66 in the 400 IM, marking a five second drop from her previous best of a 4:59.15. She now sits just outside the top 100 in the 13-14 age group all-time as it takes a 4:54.23 to make the top 100.
The 100 breaststroke was a tight race on the girls side as Aidyn Reese won in a 1:12.44 just ahead of Cassie Bauer who touched in a 1:12.57. Reese, a Florida State commit, dropped 0.03 from her lifetime best. Bauer currently swims at FGCU and won the 50 breast last night.
Also swimming to a win on the girls side was Jianna Amores who won the 100 fly in a 1:00.47. She was just off her lifetime best 1:00.12 that she swam last July.
Highlighting the boys side of the night was Logan Robinson who swam to a win in the 100 butterfly with a 54.24. The Florida State swimmer has a lifetime best 52.12 in the event. Robinson also swam to a 2nd place finish in a 1:53.12 as he finished behind Nicolas Kokidko who won in a 1:52.56. Kokidko is a FSU commit for fall 2027 and has a lifetime best 1:51.53 in the event.
Winning the boys 100 breast was Giulian Martin who swam to a 1:03.58. Martin swims collegiately for North Carolina and has been as fast as a 1:02.72 in the event. Texas A&M commit Jackson Irwin won the 400 IM in a 4:31.23. His lifetime best is a 4:25.71 from 2025 Summer Juniors.
