According to Niles police, the woman was seen on video removing eggs from a nest located at the side of a building near the Golf Mill Mall on Monday afternoon.
The video was posted to the department’s social media feed, and the matter was turned over to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources’ Conservation Police.
According to authorities, tips from the public were used to identify the woman, and she is now facing charges in the case.
