JetBlue is officially shaking up the skies with the launch of BlueFirst, its brand-new domestic first-class product, now on sale across more than 30 routes.
Designed to bring a dedicated premium cabin to shorter domestic, Caribbean, and Latin American routes that don’t feature the carrier’s lie-flat Mint suites, the new service takes off for the first time on December 8, 2026, connecting two of the airline’s biggest hubs: Boston Logan and Fort Lauderdale. To mark the milestone, the carrier rolled out limited-time introductory one-way fares starting at just $249.
“We designed BlueFirst to deliver a more accessible first-class experience that combines the thoughtful hospitality and service customers expect from JetBlue with exceptional value and comfort. We’re excited that customers can now start making BlueFirst part of their travel plans,” said Joanna Geraghty, chief executive officer of JetBlue. “This is just the beginning. As we bring BlueFirst to more aircraft, customers will see it become available on routes and in markets across our network, giving them even more opportunities to choose an elevated JetBlue experience.”

JetBlue
For travelers accustomed to paying steep legacy-carrier prices for extra breathing room, BlueFirst introduces a dedicated two-by-two seating configuration outfitted with custom Tuft & Needle Flex foam, five inches of recline, and up to seven additional inches of legroom. The seatback experience is anchored by a 13.3-inch screen running the Blueprint by JetBlue platform with personal Bluetooth connectivity and an interactive “Mixologist Mode” that lets flyers customize cocktails right from their monitors.
Beyond extra elbow room and tech perks, the soft product leans heavily into upgraded dining and beverage selections. On flights stretching 899 miles or longer, passengers receive a multi-course FirstFare meal complete with an entrée, side, and dessert, alongside sommelier-curated wines from Parcelle, specialty coffee from Cometeer and Joe Coffee, and Smith Teamaker teas. Every ticket also comes bundled with priority check-in, expedited security, Group 1 boarding, and dedicated overhead bin space, while select fare tiers add up to two free checked bags.

Frequent flyers can also get in on the action: JetBlue’s TrueBlue Mosaic 3 and 4 members can redeem newly minted Premium Upgrade Certificates for BlueFirst, while all eligible Mosaic tiers will gain access to complimentary, space-available upgrades at departure.
