The men’s 200 freestyle went to Timo Sorgius, who was a member of the men’s 800 freestyle relay team in 2025. He touched in 1:46.17, which was a massive new personal best. She moved to train at the national training center last year, and dropped nearly a second from the 2:13.19 she swam in May of 2024.
The other was Bjorn Kammann in the men’s 200 butterfly. He swam 1:56.66 to take the top time by two seconds over Marc Sauer‘s 1:58.68 for the silver medal.
He said afterwards, “I struggled with making the national team. Now I’m super happy.”
