Lena Brown and Louisa Holda have announced their commitments to continue their academic and athletic careers at UConn beginning in fall 2027.
Louisa Holda
Holda swims for North Coast Aquatic Team out of Cleveland, Ohio. She finished her summer season at the 2026 Summer Junior Championships where she was 54th in the 50 breast (33.46, lifetime best), 73rd in the 100 breast (1:13.88), and 110th in the 200 breast (2:48.29).

Holda’s Best SCY Times Are:
100 breast: 1:02.89 200 breast: 2:17.97Based on her best times, Holda would have finished 5th in the 100 breast and 8th in the 200 breast at the conference level. UConn had three ‘A’ finalists in the 100 breast and two in the 200 breast.
Lena Brown
Brown finished her long course season for Kentucky Aquatics at the 2026 NCSA Championships. There she was highlighted by a 32nd place finish in the 50 fly as she swam a lifetime best 28.81. She also was 34th in the 100 fly in a 1:04.02.
Brown’s Best SCY Times Are:
100 fly: 55.92 100 back: 55.78Based on her best times, Brown would have been 8th in both the 100 fly and 100 back at the conference level. UConn had five ‘A’ finalists in the 100 back and three in the 100 fly this past season.
The UConn women finished 2nd out of seven teams at the 2026 Big East Championships with 1520 points, about 200 points behind Villanova’s 1754 points that they scored to win the title. Jessica Sheng led the team with 84 individual points including a win in the 100 free in a 49.98.
