A senior at Jackson Hole High School in Jackson, WY, Tattersall has been a member of her school’s varsity swimming and diving team since her freshman year. She also swims year-round with Jackson Hole Stingray Swim Team, where she specializes in middle-distance freestyle, IM, and butterfly.
Tattersall wrapped up her high school career at the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) 4A State meet in November with four event wins. She captured individual titles in the 200 free (1:54.81) and 500 free (5:17.56) and helped Jackson Hole win the 200 medley relay (25.76 fly split) and 400 free relay (52.21 split). A four-time state qualifier, she claimed her third consecutive 200 free title and second straight 500 free title, finishing no lower than second in any individual event at the meet. She also contributed to five relay victories over her career.
Tattersall most recently competed at Speedo Sectionals in St. Mary’s City last month, arguably her best meet of the season. She placed fifth in the 200 free (1:52.48), sixth in the 100 free (52.10), 11th in the 200 fly (2:08.96) and 200 IM (2:09.04), and 16th in the 400 IM (4:33.81, 4:33.50 in prelims) and 500 free (5:08.76, 5:04.55 in prelims), all personal bests with the exception of the 200 IM.
A few weeks prior, she set her current 200 IM best of 2:07.87 at the PN VAST 49th Annual Washington Open.
Over the past 12 months, Tattersall has been on a time-dropping tear, lowering her 400 IM by just over four seconds, 200 fly by nearly three, 200 free by over two, 200 IM by almost two, 100 free by half a second, and 500 free by a quarter of a second.

Based on the results from the meet, Tattersall’s lifetime bests would have placed her third in the 400 IM, fifth in the 500 free, sixth in the 200 free, seventh in the 200 IM and 200 fly, and eighth in the 100 free, setting her up to be a multi-event ‘A’ finalist right from the start.
On the team itself, Tattersall is projected to rank second in the 400 IM, third in the 200 IM and 500 free, fourth in the 100 free and 200 fly, and fifth in the 200 free, adding depth to a roster that won four of those five events at conference, including a 1-2-3-4-5 sweep in the 200 free, and returns all defending champions. She also figures to make an immediate impact on the 400 and 800 free relays, both of which are defending conference champions.
Tattersall is the fastest incoming freshman in the 200 free, 500 free, and 200 fly, and ranks second in the 100 free and 200 IM and third in the 400 IM. She joins a recruiting class that includes Makenzie Royal (breast/IM), Madison Crysel (breast/IM/mid-distance free), Valerie Peimann (breast/IM/mid-distance free), Tai Misailidis (breast/IM), Gabrielle Sung (sprint free), Thea Siegel (sprint free/fly), and Ellie Wang (free/fly/IM).
