Three years after its first season arrived on Prime Video, it has finally been confirmed when spy series Citadel will be back for its second run.
The series, which stars Richard Madden (Game of Thrones), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (The Bluff) and Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada 2), will officially return for season 2 on Wednesday 6 May, with all seven episode releasing at once on Prime Video.
Not only will Madden, Chopra Jonas and Tucci be back as Mason Kane, Nadia Sinh and Bernard Orlick respectively, but other returning stars include Lesley Manville and Ashleigh Cummings.
Meanwhile, new additions to the cast include Jack Reynor, Matt Berry, Lina El Arabi, Merle Dandridge, Gabriel Leone and Rayna Vallandingham.

The synopsis for the series says it follows Mason, Nadia and Bernard, who are described as "elite operatives of a legendary agency destroyed by Manticore, a ruthless network backed by the world’s most powerful families".
The synopsis continues: "When a terrifying new threat emerges, the three are pulled back into action. Now they must recruit an unlikely team of skilled new operatives and launch a globe-spanning mission to stop a conspiracy that could reshape humanity.
"With blockbuster action, shocking betrayals, and an expanded ensemble of mysterious agents, the stakes have never been higher – and anyone could be friend or foe."
Avengers: Doomsday directors Anthony and Joe Russo have returned as executive producers, with Joe also directing alongside Greg Yaitanes.
While it's taken a long time to get the original Citadel series back, it has spawned two spin-offs in the meantime, with Italian series Citadel: Diana and Indian series Citadel: Honey Bunny both premiering in 2024.
