Former The Bold and the Beautiful star Matthew Atkinson has shared a personal update with fans on social media.
Atkinson, best known for portraying the role of Thomas Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, announced that he and his wife, Brytnee Atkinson, are expecting a baby girl.

The couple married in Lake Tahoe on November 8, 2023. In July 2024, they announced they were expecting their first child, writing at the time, “Our next adventure.” They later welcomed a healthy baby boy.
Atkinson joined the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful with his first episode airing on March 14, 2019, taking over for Pierson Fodé. Atkinson appeared on the soap opera from 2019 through 2024, and then made a guest appearance in 2025.
During his time on the show, Thomas returned to Los Angels with his son Douglas following the death of his fiancée, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey). HE later developed a complicated romance with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), a pairing that became popular with fans despite ongoing obstacles.
Atkinson’s professional acting career began with an appearance on One Tree Hillin 2009, with his first series regular role coming in 2012 on Jane By Design. From there he made appearances on Parenthood before joining the cast of The Young and the Restless in 2014.
