"But we’ve had other members of the cast of Blue Bloods on [Boston Blue]," he continued. "It’s been incredible. We had Grandpa Reagan [a .k.a. Henry Pop Reagan played by Len Cariou.] We have a few surprises before the season ends of other Reagans. It’s so great.”
The actor added that "it would be lovely to have Tom," but fans will have to be patient and stay tuned. "It would be wonderful. But when the time is right. Until then, onward.”

Selleck, who famously starred in TV series like Magnum, P.I. and Friends, and films like In & Out, Quigley Down Under, and the Jesse Stone TV movies, has had a busy few years. He wrapped Blue Bloods in 2024, the same year he released his memoir You Never Know: A Memoir.
Though he seemed to take a little break from acting with only an untitled Jesse Stone project currently in production, the Emmy and Golden Globe winner recently signed with United Talent Agency, signaling intentions for a big comeback in the near future.
