As law enforcement was searching for her, there was an increased police presence in the Via Entrada area—less than 2 miles from Guthrie's home. It was not related to Savannah's mom's case, despite KOLD receiving several questions about the law enforcement in the vicinity.

Additionally, those who live in or around Guthrie's Catalina Foothills neighborhood might notice additional law enforcement patrols. That's because the Pima County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) recently attended a homeowners' association meeting, where neighbors complained about a YouTuber "harassing" residents, KVOA reported.
The PCSD also confirmed that it received similar complaints from Nancy's other daughter, Annie Guthrie, who lives nearby. In response, the department increased patrols in both neighborhoods.
Nancy was last seen at her Tucson home on the evening of Jan. 31 before her family reported her missing on Feb. 1. As of writing, no suspect has been named in the case. The PCSD and the FBI continue to investigate, and Savannah has even offered a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy's recovery.
On April 6, Savannah returned to Today for the first time since her mother's kidnapping, although she was missing from the NBC morning show on Friday, April 17.
