Across 11 episodes, audiences have watched on as 20 contenders entered the Gladiators arena, all of whom were vying for the chance to be crowned champion - but only two could take that title.
Tonight's episode welcomed the four finalists back into the arena as they took on the Gladiators, and each other, one last time.
After a tough competition, which saw Legend try his hand at commentary and a moment from Viper that left the Gladiators gobsmacked, it all came down to one final moment, which saw Emily Bell and Josh McDonald crowned the Gladiators champions of 2026.
At the start of the series, 10 female contenders took on the Gladiators and each other in the ultimate competition and tonight, just Naomi and Emily remained in the running.
Emily is a 23-year-old sales consultant and an avid rugby player. She stepped out of her comfort zone to take part in Gladiators. She became the first contender to last the full 30 seconds on Duel with Cyclone before beating her again in the quarter-finals.
Asked if she was having a pretty good birthday, Emily told host Barney Walsh: "Unforgettable! I just won Gladiators season 3 on my 23rd birthday. I could not imagine being here with a better person. We've made history, oldest and youngest female contenders, but what a woman! She is such a woman that shows at any age, just go and do it."
40-year-old Naomi is a business consultant and hockey player, and competing on the show wasn't just a personal goal, she also entered the arena to make her family proud.
"In all honesty, I'm just so happy," Naomi said after the Eliminator.
Tyler and Josh were the male finalists going head-to-head to be crowned Gladiators champion 2026.
27-year-old sales manager Josh bested the majority of the Gladiators during his rounds, but was knocked out of the competition after losing at the Eliminator. But when Mark had to drop out due to injury, Josh stepped in his place and won his Eliminator.
Speaking of his winning moment and having a surprise message from his brother before his race began, Josh said: "It caught me completely off guard, so I had that extra little boost. I was thinking of my mum the entire time... This win is for my family!"
Runner-up Tyler is a 30-year-old computer science teacher who swapped the classroom for the Gladiators arena and quickly smashed his way through the rounds. His journey almost came to a close when he lost the Eliminator, but when Mo was forced to withdraw due to injury, Tyler was back in the game!
Reflecting on his time in the competition, Tyler said: "To get second on the show is an achievement in itself and I'm really proud of myself."
