The main construction phase is due to start in the fourth quarter of this year, with practical completion targeted for early 2029.

The scheme spans a 1.24-acre site between London Bridge and Southwark Bridge and will deliver about 250,000ft² of office space over two basement levels and 11 storeys above ground, along with a café.
Stanhope secured Red Lion Court in partnership with Cheyne Capital in September 2025.
This initiative comes at a time when the availability of new office space in London remains tight.
The development aims to address the ongoing demand for modern office accommodation in Central London.
Designed by Bjarke Ingels Group, the development will feature four terraces with views over the River Thames, amenities including a club room and wellness centre, and end-of-trip facilities such as parking for 473 bicycles and 54 showers.
The building’s location provides access to multiple transport links, with London Bridge, Cannon Street, Waterloo and Blackfriars stations all nearby.
Mace Construct commercial managing director Ged Simmonds said: “We are immensely proud to be entrusted with the delivery of Red Lion Court, a project that will set new benchmarks for sustainable and innovative workplaces in London.”
Red Lion Court is located in Bankside, a commercial district that combines office space with residential development.
Local attractions like Borough Market, Borough Yards, Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre are situated close by.
Stanhope development head Tony Wall said: “Red Lion Court is set to be another landmark development and awarding this contract shortly after acquiring the project last year allows us to work to a timetable that delivers this prime new office space at a time when the market will be amongst its most constrained in terms of supply.”
In August 2025, Hertshten Properties selected Mace to construct the 32-storey mixed-use tower at 85 Gracechurch Street in London.
