Chicago police were investigating after a man was shot while inside a vehicle late Friday in the River North neighborhood, law enforcement said.
At around 11:17 p.m., a man was inside his car along West Ontario Street near North Orleans Street when a dark-colored sedan drove up and parked. Two men exited the vehicle, displayed guns and opened fire toward the victim’s vehicle before fleeing, police stated.
The victim, a 26-year-old man, was shot three times in the right leg and went to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
Area Three detectives were investigating.
