ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man, 29, is recovering after hitting a traffic light pole at the corner of Browncroft Boulevard and Merchants Road on Thursday night.
Rochester Police say the driver lost control, hit the curb, and hit the pole around 10:45 p.m. The driver, the only one inside the car, was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital to treat non-life-threatening injuries. Police say he had cuts to his upper body from the crash.
News10NBC’s photojournalist saw the car loaded onto a tow truck. Monroe County sheriff’s deputies were also at the scene. Officers say the driver was ticketed.
