Two swimmers won two events on night three at Boise Sectionals as Brayleigh Hoisington won the 200 back and 500 free on the girls side while Jake McCoy won the 100 breast and 100 fly on the boys side.

McCoy’s wins came less 20 minutes apart as he first swam to a 54.52 in the 100 breast. McCoy, who just finished his freshman year at Tennessee, dropped from his previous lifetime best of a 55.04 in the event from April 2025. He did not race the event at all this season for the Vols. Just 20 minutes later, he also won the 100 fly in a 48.10, a huge lifetime best as his previous best was a 50.09 that he swam at the Tennessee Last Chance meet.

Hoisington had about 30 minutes between her events as the 16 year old first won the 200 back in a 2:00.65, dropping from her previous best of a 2:01.30. She was about three seconds off her lifetime best in the 500 free which was about 30 minutes later as she touched in a 5:01.96.

Also earning a win on the girls side of the meet was 15 year old Grace Perry who won the 100 fly by over two seconds. Perry touched in a 53.31, dropping from her previous best of a 53.89 that she swam just last month at the Colorado Girls High School state meet.

The final winner on the girls side was Sedona Stratton as she won the 100 breast in a 1:02.34. That dropped 0.09 seconds off her previous best of a 1:02.43 that she swam in November.

Other winners on the boys side included Breck Boyd who won the 200 back and Malachi Villarreal who won the 500 free. Boyd, a UCSB commit, touched in a 1:46.59, dropping from his previous best of a 1:48.09 that he swam back in November. Villarreal was about four seconds off his lifetime best.
