Veteran artist manager Bill Simmons, management partner Kendal Marcy and songwriter/publisher Chris DuBois have formed Domain Artist Management with flagship client Brad Paisley, who has had a long association with all three executives.
Simmons has managed the country superstar since 2003, while Marcy, who is also a multi-instrumentalist and producer, has been on Paisley’s team since 1999 and has executive-produced many of the artist’s TV and musical projects. Hit songwriter DuBois and Paisley co-founded Sea Gayle Music in 1999.

Domain Artist Management is a joint venture with Domain Capital Group, LLC.
This is the latest move into the entertainment sector by Domain Capitol Group, which acquired Miranda Lambert’s catalog earlier this year through its partnership with Sony Music Publishing; that partnership previously included an investment in Ashley Gorley’s catalog. Last year, Sony Music Publishing, Domain Capitol Group and Sea Gayle Music also formed a global publishing administration partnership.
The new partnership gives Domain Artist Management access to capital for further growth and infrastructure. Domain Capital Group has approximately $8.3 billion in assets, according to the company, spanning real estate, media, entertainment, technology and more.
“The formation of Domain Artist Management brings together experienced and successful artist representation and long-term capital into one platform,” Pete Chiappetta, managing director of media & entertainment at Domain Capital Group, said in a statement. “By aligning our resources and strategic capabilities with the decades of experience that Bill, Kendal, and Chris bring to the table, we are building a management company designed to serve artists thoughtfully and capitalize on today’s entertainment landscape for our investors.”
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Pete and the entire Domain team to add more talented artists to our roster,” Marcy added. “As Nashville and the country genre continue to expand, we are eager to support and develop our artists’ successes through our expertise in management, touring, music, and film.”
