Former Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has brutally issued an ultimatum to former teammate Jasprit Bumrah and asked him not to bowl slower deliveries in the death overs. India cannot afford their premier bowler to be uneconomical under any clause, and that is Ashwin's biggest concern.

Bumrah, in his overall performance, has still been one of India's finest with 9 wickets at an average of 14 and an economy of 6.30 in 6 matches. However, Ashwin believes he should stick to his yorkers and length stock balls in the death.
"Though Roston Chase didn't pick it in the last game, many teams have picked his slower delivery in this tournament. The reason is that his speeds are lower in that delivery. It could be because of several reasons; he's not getting any younger," he added.
Ravichandran Ashwin keeps faith in Varun Chakravarthy and backs him against English batters
Ravichandran Ashwin has also raised serious questions on the ability of the England batters to tackle leg spin. He has, hence, backed Varun Chakravarthy for the semi-final clash despite his recent struggles with the ball.
"His googlies are going for runs, and he has missed his lengths in this tournament. But in the most recent bilateral series, the England batters didn't pick him at all. They had no clue where Varun was bowling," said Ravichandran Ashwin (via the aforementioned source).
Despite having a good start to the tournament with 9 wickets in the group stage, Varun lost form and has picked up 3 wickets in as many games in the Super-8, and gave away runs at an economy of above 10.
India and England to play their third consecutive T20 World Cup semi-final
