Wednesday stars twisty YA thriller unveils first look at season 2

Pip Fitz-Amobi is back on the case, as A Good Girl's Guide to Murder returns for a second season – and we finally have a closer look at what's to come!

Returning to BBC One later this year, Pip (Emma Myers) is determined to fix the fallout from solving the Andie Bell case, as well as staying away from any more investigations. But when Max Hastings' (Henry Ashton) trial approaches and Connor's brother Jamie suddenly goes missing, Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him.

The first look images reveal Pip and her friends back on the pursuit for the truth as she, Ravi (Zain Iqbal), Cara (Asha Banks), Lauren (Yali Topol Margalith) and Connor (Jude Morgan-Collie) reunite, unravelling new secrets, leads and mysteries.

While Pip prepares to face Max in court, his cousin Robin (Freddie England) starts dating Lauren and becomes a controversial new member of their friendship group.

The series is based on the best-selling novels by Holly Jackson, who has penned the second season for television.

When it first launched in 2024, the series became one of the BBC iPlayer's most watch titles with 16-24 year olds and BBC Three's highest rated drama since its relaunch.

Last year, the BBC announced a flurry of new cast members joining the second season, including KAOS star Misia Butler as Stanley Forbes, a figure on the fringes of Pip's new investigation.

Tell Me Everything's Eden Hambelton-Davies joins the cast as Jamie, the brother of Jude Morgan-Collie's character Connor Reynolds. Jamie is described as a quiet but popular local musician whose sudden disappearance sends shockwaves through the community.

MobLand star Jack Rowan also joins as Charlie Green, Pip's new neighbour who is drawn into the heart of the mystery unravelling in Little Kilton.

Jackson, said of the castings: "I'm so excited to welcome some new and incredibly talented actors into the AGGGTM family. Eden is sensational as our Jamie, his presence felt throughout, even though he’s missing.

"Misia is the perfect Stanley Forbes, delivering a truly heart-wrenching performance. And Jack as Charlie Green is simply extraordinary: I had to stand and clap at the monitors. Just you wait."
