Letitia Sim made history for Michigan, becoming the first woman to win the 200 breaststroke since 2005 when Justine Mueller won the title in a 2:12.81. Sim won the event in a 2:05.24.
With her win in the 200 breaststroke, Sim sweeps the Big Ten titles in the breaststroke events as she already won the 100 breaststroke last night in a 57.90. She becomes the first Michigan swimmer since 1993 to sweep the breaststroke events as Lara Hooiveld won both events as well (1:01.63, 2:13.74).
