Meijer is recalling thousands of popular children’s pajamas sold at stores in Illinois and other Midwestern states because they could become flammable, according to an announcement.
The Lullaby Lane and MCS one-piece footed pajamas, Meijer says, “violate the flammability regulations for children’s sleepwear” and could post a risk of burn injuries if worn.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sleepwear and return the product to a Meijer store for a full refund,” the Consumer Product Safety Commission said.
In total, about 211,520 footed pajamas in 10 different styles and patterns were voluntarily recalled. The pajamas came in 12-,18- and 24-month sizes, and were sold in a variety of designs, ranging from airplanes, to buffalo checks, to shamrocks to sharks.
