The iconic 1980s glam metal band Mötley Crüe has announced a new concert date before their 45th anniversary tour, "The Return of the Carnival of Sins," commences. The new show date was announced on Tuesday morning via the band's social media and fans are already buzzing.
The added show will be held on July 4 in Winnipeg, Manitoba at Princess Auto stadium. Joining the band will be Three Days Grace, Halestorm and JJ Wilde, all respected hard rock artists. The Winnipeg show will kick off Mötley Crüe's anniversary tour, coming just two weeks before the original commencement date of July 17 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.
"The Return of the Carnival of Sins" tour was announced in November to celebrate the band's 45th anniversary as well as the 20th anniversary of their 2005 world tour, "Carnival of Sins." The North American tour is a reimagined version of that iconic 2005 tour, traveling to 33 cities across the U.S. and Canada with an updated setlist and support from the bands Tesla and Extreme.
Fans who missed the North American ticket sale in November can now purchase tickets for the new summer show. In the comments of the announcement post, fans shared their excitement.

Throughout the band's career, they released nine studio albums, garnering significant commercial success and a reputation for their theatrical, high-energy concerts. Mötley Crüe is widely credited with bringing the stereotypical "sex, drugs and rock and roll" lifestyle to the mainstream. They are also recognized as major figures in shaping the glam metal genre in the 1980s.
