A woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle in Pacoima, authorities said Saturday.
The crash occurred at about 5:50 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in the area of Van Nuys Boulevard and Glenoaks Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
A black Dodge Durango traveling eastbound on Van Nuys Boulevard, east of Glenoaks, struck the woman, who was crossing the street. The vehicle continued eastbound on Van Nuys Boulevard without stopping, police said.
Arriving paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles City Council has authorized a reward of up to $50,000 for anyone who provides information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction or a resolution in a civil case involving a fatal hit-and-run.
