Jonathan Kuminga has a bone bruise in his left knee, the Warriors announced Sunday before their game against the Timberwolves in Minneapolis.
Kuminga suffered the injury in the second quarter of Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks in Dallas. He rolled his ankle and hyperextended his knee, then limped off the court, pausing momentarily to sit in a courtside seat before heading to the Warriors’ locker room.
An MRI on Friday showed the bone bruise, the Warriors said Sunday. He was ruled out Friday for the Minnesota game, originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon but postponed after federal agents shot and killed a man amid protests in the city over an immigration crackdown.
