ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Buffalo Bills players and fans are celebrating Thursday night’s 41-31 victory against the Detroit Lions in the first regular-season game at the new Highmark Stadium.
The Bills showed off their high-powered offense, with Josh Allen finishing the game with 243 passing yards, 69 rushing yards, and five total touchdowns. Some Bills Mafia members said it was emotional to see the old stadium, full of so many memories, being demolished, but exciting to build new memories at a state-of-the-art stadium.
