American Idol host Ryan Seacrest recently debuted a bold hair transformation that deeply divided fans.
On Jan. 22, the On Air With Ryan Seacrest official Instagram account shared a video of the Wheel of Fortune host, 51.

"Like, are we rocking goatee now?" cohost Sisanie asked him. "Is this the new Ryan?"
Fellow cohost Tanya Rad then declared, "I love it!" to which Sisanie agreed, "I'm here for it, actually."
"No, it's been here. It's just now growing in," he explained. "I was gonna shave my 5 o'clock shadow into its little 5-o'clock-ness. But I accidentally went the whole way through my cheek, so I had to correct it."
Seacrest continued, "You know when you write a letter and you write the wrong letter in a word, and you have to go back... the 'E' becomes a 'P' or something like that. I had to 'P' my 'E' and 'E' my 'P' with my goatee. So that's why I have a goatee."
Sisanie reiterated, "It looks cute. And I'm not really a facial hair girl. So, that says a lot."
To that, Seacrest concluded, "I don't know. I haven't gone out in the wild with it yet. But here you are, a debut for YouTube."
