Progressive sludge metal band Baroness, one of the most respected rock acts to rise out of the early 2000s underground scene, has announced an important update regarding their upcoming U.S. shows.
The Savannah, Georgia–based group confirmed that they will play three consecutive East Coast concerts in March, including a special appearance alongside the reunited Acid Bath.
According to the update, Baroness will headline shows in Philadelphia and Amityville, New York, while also performing as a supporting act for Acid Bath in Sayreville, New Jersey. The three shows are scheduled back-to-back, making the short run a focused and exciting moment for longtime listeners and newer fans alike.

The dates are set for March 6 at Underground Arts in Philadelphia, March 7 at Starland Ballroom in Sayreville with Acid Bath and The Skull and March 8 at Amityville Music Hall in Amityville. Tickets for the newly announced headlining shows go on sale January 23 at 10 a.m. EST.

The additional concerts were announced to surround Baroness’ support slot for Acid Bath, who are reuniting for select live performances. Instead of traveling to New Jersey for just one show, Baroness decided to expand the run and headline two nearby venues, making the trip more worthwhile for fans across the East Coast.
The band will kick things off in Philadelphia on March 6, followed by the high-profile Sayreville show the next night. They will then wrap up the three days in Amityville on March 8.
Baroness has remained active on the road in recent years, especially following the release of their most recent album, Stone, in September 2023. While no new album has been announced since then, the band has confirmed they are working on new material, making these live dates part of an ongoing creative period rather than a one-off appearance.
Formed in 2003, Baroness has built a reputation for intense live performances and steady artistic growth. Their music blends heavy riffs with progressive and melodic elements, a sound that has evolved across color-themed albums like Red Album, Blue Record, Purple, and Gold & Grey. Their latest release, Stone, continued that evolution and kept the band firmly in the spotlight.
The March East Coast shows are part of a broader touring schedule in 2026. Additional confirmed dates include April 4 in Dallas, May 2 in Chicago and a May 15 appearance at Pouzza Fest in Montreal.
As of now, no further East Coast dates have been announced, but the band has encouraged fans to keep an eye on official updates, as more shows could still be added later in the year.
