Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day shared some new pictures on Instagram that had fans scratching their heads.
"Show em how to play," O'Day, 41, captioned the post, uploaded on Wednesday, Jan. 21. In the accompanying snaps, the "Show Stopper" singer wore a beige, fluffy two piece outfit with matching heels that showed off her long legs and her toned midriff. However, O'Day's makeup and contour (and perhaps a filter) completely changed the look of her face, leaving fans completely baffled.
Reactions to the photos poured in with many fans asking the same question, "Who is this?"
"I love you so much but these pictures are so filtered or shopped it doesn’t even look like you at all. I literally thought this post was someone completely different," one person wrote.
"Literally who is this lol," someone else asked.
"This literally doesn’t even look like u," a third comment read.
"Babe… this looks NOTHING like you. I just saw you recently on the tv lol WHOOOOOOO IS THIS!?!" a fourth Instagram user wondered.
O'Day is no stranger to online critiques, either. Back in 2022, she discussed some hateful comments that she had read about her weight and explained how said comments affected her.
"My body's been on the chopping block since I was 17. Those were not the first fat photos," she told E! News. "There's been a lot of fat photos of Aubrey and I wasn't even fat."
"I'll spend the rest of my life trying to heal with how many inaccurate things have been told about me," she added.
O'Day rose to fame on Diddy's Making the Band which aired on MTV back in 2009. She alongside four other women—Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods—made up the girl group Danity Kane. The group has changed form over the years and currently consists of O'Day, Fimbres, and Woods.
