"Modern Prairie is aware of recent media reports regarding serious allegations involving a family member of our brand muse, Melissa Gilbert," the brand wrote in an Instagram post on Tuesday. "These allegations do not involve Modern Prairie, our operations, nor our community."
The statement continued, "Modern Prairie unequivocally condemns abuse in all forms and remains committed to values of safety, integrity, and respect."

Gilbert, 61, co-founded Modern Prairie with retail expert Nicole Haase in 2022. The brand sells a variety of products like kitchen accessories, home decor, clothing and more. It also hosts workshops, a book club and a number of other community events.

"Melissa stands with and supports her husband and will address the public at an appropriate time," the statement added.
